Type specimen: LOST, a partial shell (Cope does not state what parts of the shell he had, but he describes some neural bones, the entoplastron, the hyoplastron, the hypoplastron, and some costals. H). Its type locality is Pemberton Marl Company pit (Hornerstown), which is in a Maastrichtian marginal marine marl in the Hornerstown Formation of New Jersey.
Ecology: aquatic omnivore
Distribution: found only at Pemberton Marl Company pit (Hornerstown)
