Type specimen: UF 49051, a partial skeleton (skull and partial skeleton). Its type locality is White Springs 1A, marine, which is in a Chattian marine dolomite in the Parachucla Formation of Florida.

Distribution:

• Oligocene of United States (3: Florida, South Carolina collections)

Total: 3 collections each including a single occurrence
