Type specimen: MNHN Coty TOT158.1, an exoskeleton. Its type locality is Rio Totolapa Salado amber (Coty collection, MNHN), which is in a Miocene terrestrial amber in Mexico.

Distribution: found only at Rio Totolapa Salado amber (Coty collection, MNHN)
