Type specimen: LB-063, housed in the Department of Plant Science, University of Tasmania., a sterile axis (Cuticle). Its type locality is Lake Bungarby, which is in a Paleocene terrestrial mudstone in Australia.
Distribution: found only at Lake Bungarby
