Type specimen: USNM 561775. Its type locality is Columbia (USGS 15263) - Hickman (1980), which is in a Priabonian deep-water siltstone/mudstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder-chemosymbiotic
Distribution:
• Oligocene of United States (2: Washington collections)
• Eocene of United States (5: Oregon)
Total: 7 collections each including a single occurrence
