Type specimen: UCMP 110688. Its type locality is Rock Creek, near Keasey, which is in a Priabonian basinal (siliceous) mudstone in the Keasey Formation of Oregon.
Ecology: facultatively mobile infaunal suspension feeder-chemosymbiotic
