Sister taxa: Colbertia falui, Colbertia magellanica
Type specimen: PVL-4607, a skull. Its type locality is Estancia Pampa Grande, which is in a Lutetian terrestrial mudstone/sandstone in the Lumbrera Formation of Argentina.
Ecology: scansorial herbivore
Distribution:
• Eocene of Argentina (2 collections)
Total: 2 collections each including a single occurrence
