Type specimen: Museu de Geologia de la Universitat de València, MGUV 14780-2, a partial skull (maxilla and mandible fragments). Its type locality is Venta del Moro, which is in a Turolian floodplain conglomerate/lignite in the Venta del Moro-Villatoya Formation of Spain.
Ecology: ground dwelling carnivore-omnivore
Distribution: found only at Venta del Moro
