Sister taxa: Charnia gracilis, Charnia grandis, Charnia masoni, Charnia siberica, Blackbrookia oaksi, Shepshedia palmata, Pseudovendia charnwoodensis
Type specimen: NFM-4023, an other. Its type locality is Matthews Surface, which is in an Ediacaran slope siltstone/tuff in the Trepassey Formation of Canada.
Ecology: stationary upper-level epifaunal osmotroph
Distribution: found only at Matthews Surface
