Type specimen: USNM 2134 (single thoracic vertebra). Its type locality is Santa Barbara, which is in a Holocene marine horizon in the Netherlands Antilles.

Ecology: fossorial carnivore

• Paleocene to Eocene of Brazil (1 collection)

• Paleocene of United States (1: Montana)

• Cretaceous of Canada (2: Alberta), United States (5: Montana, Wyoming)
