Mussaendopsis suborbiculatus
Taxonomy
Mussaendopsis suborbiculatus was named by Konomatsu and Awasthi (1999). It is not extant. Its type specimen is Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeobotany, Lucknow, 37692. Its type locality is Mahendra Highway between Barghat and Dumkibas, which is in a Miocene fluvial sandstone/mudstone in the Binai Khola Formation of Nepal.
