Taxonomy
Liostracus linnarssoni was named by Brøgger (1878). Its type specimen is PMO 19858, a cephalon/head (cranidium), and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Solenopleurina linnarssoni by Orlowski (1975); it was recombined as Parasolenopleura linnarssoni by Weidner et al. (2023).
