Taxonomy
Tellina pulchra was named by Slodkewitsch (1938) [DISTRIBUTION: Cenozoic; North Pacific.]. It is not a trace fossil.

It was recombined as Tellina (Peronidia) pulchra by Devjatilova and Volobueva (1981); it was recombined as Megangulus pulchrus by Kafanov et al. (2001).
