Taxonomy
Tellina kewi was named by Dickerson (1914) [DISTRIBUTION: Paleocene; Eastern Pacific.]. Its type specimen is UCMP 11715, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Tellina (Megangulus) kewi by Moore (2003).
