Pamiroseris meriani

Taxonomy
Thamnastraea meriani was named by Stoppani (1865). It is not extant. Its type locality is Azzarola, Central Lombardy, Italy, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Calcare di Zu Formation of Italy.

It was recombined as Pamiroseris meriani by Stanley, jr and Whalen (1989), Caruthers and Stanley (2008).
