Taxonomy
Astrea cadomensis was named by Michelin (1846). It is a 3D body fossil.

It was recombined as Synastrea cadomensis by d'Orbigny (1850); it was recombined as Thamnastraea cadomensis by Milne-Edwards and Haime (1857), de Fromentel (1861); it was recombined as Thamnoseris cadomensis by Draganescu and Beauvais (1985).
