Asiadapis cambayensis
Taxonomy
Asiadapis cambayensis was named by Rose et al. (2007). Its type specimen is GU/RSR/VAS-6, a mandible (right dentary with P3-M2 and alveoli for C, P2, and M3), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Vastan Lignite Mine, which is in a Ypresian lagoonal siltstone/claystone in the Cambay Shale Formation of India.
