Palaeoamasia kansui
Taxonomy
Palaeoamasia kansui was named by Ozansoy (1966). Its type specimen is MNHN-EC-1, a mandible, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Eski Celtek, which is in a Ypresian fluvial-lacustrine lignite in the Çeltek Formation of Turkey.
