Taxonomy
Rhipidomeandra bugrovae was named by Morycowa and Masse (1998). It is not a trace fossil. Its type locality is Les Gardettes, Monieux, Massif de Vaucluse, Provence, which is in a Barremian/Aptian marine limestone in France. It is the type species of Rhipidomeandra.
