It was assigned to Caudata by Estes (1981); to Urodeles by Estes (1964) and Carroll (1988); to Urodela by Gao and Shubin (2001) and Gao and Shubin (2003); and to Urodela by Kuhn (1946) and Jia and Gao (2019).
