Taxonomy
Microsmilia fascicularis was named by Geyer (1955). It is not extant. Its type locality is Stramberk reef, Czechia, which is in a Tithonian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Stramberk Limestone Formation of Czechia.
