Anisopus was named by Meigen (1803). It is extant.

It was synonymized subjectively with Sylvicola by Amorim et al. (2016).

It was assigned to Anisopodidae by Edwards (1928); and to Anisopidae by Lewis (1969).
Lycoria was named by Latreille (1802). It is extant.
