Taxonomy
Zardinophyllum carpathicum was named by Roniewicz and Michalík (1998). It is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Tatra Mountains, Western Carparthians, Slovakia, which is in a Rhaetian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Slovakia.
