Taxonomy
Carpathiphyllia regularis was named by Roniewicz and Michalik (2002). It is not extant. Its type locality is Krslenica Hill, Malé Karpaty, which is in a Tuvalian reef, buildup or bioherm reef rocks in the Veterlin Formation of Slovakia. It is the type species of Carpathiphyllia.
