Taxonomy
Dimorphomeandra besairiei was named by Alloiteau (1958). Its type locality is Ankotrofotsy-Masiadolo, which is in a Coniacian reef, buildup or bioherm limestone in Madagascar. It is the type species of Dimorphomeandra.
