Taxonomy
Alpinophyllia flexuosa was named by Roniewicz (1989) [Cerio-Meandroid colonial coral.]. It is not extant. Its type locality is Gosaukamm, Kesselwand-Rohrmoos/Schneckengraben, Austria, which is in a Rhaetian shallow subtidal marl/limestone in the Zlambach Formation of Austria.
