Subengius mengi
Taxonomy
Subengius mengi was named by Smith et al. (2004). Its type specimen is IMM 2001-SB-6, a tooth (left P4), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Subeng Unit 3 (Mammal Site), which is in a Gashatan fluvial-lacustrine conglomerate in the Nomogen Formation of China. It is the type species of Subengius.
