Anchomomys milleri
Taxonomy
Anchomomys milleri was named by Simons (1997). Its type specimen is CGM 42847, a mandible (right mandible with complete horizontal ramus, damaged symphysis, and posterior angular and coronoid processes missing that preserves right canine through M2), and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Quarry L-41 (Jebel Qatrani Formation), which is in a Rupelian lacustrine mudstone in the Jebel Qatrani Formation of Egypt.
