It was assigned to Adapinae by Simpson (1940) and Hooker (1986); to Cercamoniinae by Franzen (1994); to Adapidae by Gingerich (1980) and McKenna and Bell (1997); and to Anchomomyini by Simons (1997) and Marigó et al. (2011).
