Anchomomys (Huerzeleris) quercyi
Taxonomy
Anchomomys quercyi was named by Stehlin (1916) [type is from "Quercy" according to Schwartz and Tattersall 1983]. Its type specimen is BNM QH 470, a maxilla (left maxilla with three teeth), and it is a 3D body fossil.
It was recombined as Huerzeleris quercyi by Szalay (1974), Schwartz and Tattersall (1983); it was recombined as Anchomomys (Huerzeleris) quercyi by Godinot (1998).
