Taxonomy
Blagrovia palmerae was named by Wells (1933). It is not extant. Its type locality is Sycamore Creek, Forth Worth, which is in an Albian coastal siliciclastic in the Pawpaw Formation of Texas.
It was recombined as Smilotrochus palmerae by Baron-Szabo (1998).
