Taxonomy
Wellsimeandra morycowae was named by Idakieva and Tchechmedjieva (2003). Its type locality is Novo Selo, which is in a Barremian perireef or subreef marl/limestone in the Balgarene Formation of Bulgaria. It is the type species of Wellsimeandra.
