Taxonomy
Dimorphocoeniopsis beauvaisorum was named by Zlatarski (1967). Its type locality is Goznitsa, which is in a Barremian perireef or subreef marl in the Smochan Formation of Bulgaria. It is the type species of Dimorphocoeniopsis.
