Tellina (Miratellina) anaxia
Taxonomy
Tellina (Miratellina) anaxia was named by Woodring (1982). Its type specimen is USNM 647545, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Woodring Loc. 136a - Sabanita [lower Gatun Fm], which is in a Tortonian marine sandstone in the Gatun Formation of Panama. It is the type species of Tellina (Miratellina).
