Taxonomy
Eocomoseris lamellata was named by Melnikova (1993). Its type specimen is IGD 1e-Zch and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is Zurchirtsek valley, which is in a Sinemurian carbonate limestone in the Gurumdin Formation of Tajikistan.
