Loffa mulleri
Taxonomy
Loffa mulleri was named by Pessagno et al. (1979). Its type specimen is USNM 251840 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is V5A3, V5A traverse, Punta San Hipolito, Baja California, which is in a Norian basinal (siliceous) chert in the San Hipolito Formation of Mexico. It is the type species of Loffa.
