Mactromeris sectoris

Bivalvia - Cardiida - Mactridae

Taxonomy
Mactra sectoris was named by Anderson and Martin (1914). Its type specimen is CAS 131, a shell, and it is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is CAS loc. 69, south and west slopes of Pyramid Hills, which is in a Miocene coastal horizon in the Temblor Formation of California.

It was recombined as Mactromeris sectoris by Moore (2003).
