Martynovocossus strenus
Taxonomy
Pseudocossus strenus was named by Zhang (1997). Its type specimen is NIGP 126783, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Tuzigou, Badaowan Fm, Karamay, which is in a Hettangian/Sinemurian fluvial sandstone in the Badaowan Formation of China.
It was recombined as Martynovocossus strenus by Wang and Zhang (2008) and Wang et al. (2008).
