Hydrophilus rottensis
Taxonomy
Hydrous rottensis was named by Statz (1939). Its type specimen is LACMIP 3897, an elytra, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Rott (Statz Collection), which is in a Chattian lacustrine - small shale in the Rott Formation of Germany.
It was recombined as Hydrophilus rottensis by Ponomarenko and Kirejtshuk (2005) and Fikáček et al. (2010).
