Palaeophya argentina
Taxonomy
Palaeophya argentina was named by Petrulevičius and Nel (2009). Its type specimen is MLP 29426, a hindwing (fragment), and it is an impression. Its type locality is El Fuerte, which is in a Paleocene lacustrine - small shale in the Maíz Gordo Formation of Argentina. It is the type species of Palaeophya.
