Taxonomy
Narkemina was named by Martynov (1930). It is not extant. Its type is Narkemina angustata. It is the type genus of Narkeminidae.
It was assigned to Narkemocacurgidae by Pinto and de Ornellas (1978); to Protorthoptera by Carpenter (1992); to Narkeminidae by Martynov (1930), Storozhenko (1996), Storozhenko (1997), Storozhenko (1998); to Cnemidolestodea by Béthoux (2005); and to Cnemidolestidae by Aristov (2012), Aristov (2013), Aristov (2014).
