Pseudocystophora fryi
Taxonomy
Arachnastraea fryi was named by Wilson (1982). Its type specimen is UCMP 37256 and is a 3D body fossil. Its type locality is UCMP D-837, Potter Ridge, which is in a Sakmarian marine limestone/limestone in the McCloud Formation of California.
It was recombined as Pseudocystophora fryi by Fedorowski et al. (2007).
