Taxonomy
Eogyropsylla sedzimiri was named by Drohojowska (2011) [Museum of Amber Inclusions, University of Gdansk]. Its type specimen is 1708, WK 1360, an exoskeleton, and it is an inclusion in amber. Its type locality is Baltic Amber (University of Gdansk MAI collection), which is in a Priabonian terrestrial amber in Poland.
