Saaloscytina carmonae
Taxonomy
Chanarescytina carmonae was named by Martins-Neto et al. (2006). Its type specimen is PULR-I 334c(PULR-I 334/1a), a forewing (forewing fragment), and it is a mold. Its type locality is Los Chañares (1st cycle), which is in a Carnian lacustrine - large mudstone/sandstone in the Los Rastros Formation of Argentina.
It was recombined as Saaloscytina carmonae by Shcherbakov (2011), Lara et al. (2021), Rasnitsyn and Gallego (2024).
