Taxonomy

Anthoscytina hongi was named by Chen et al. (2015). It is a compression fossil.

Synonyms

Sinotettegarcta longa was named by Hong (1986). Its type specimen is 84L03, a forewing, and it is an impression. Its type locality is Western Liaoning, which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siliciclastic in the Haifanggou Formation of China.

It was synonymized subjectively with Anthoscytina longa by Wang and Szwedo (2012); it was replaced with Anthoscytina hongi by Chen et al. (2015).
