Taxonomy
Paralogus aeschnoides was named by Scudder (1893). It is an impression. Its type locality is Silver Spring, East Providence (Gorham coll), which is in a Westphalian C/Westphalian D terrestrial horizon in the Allegheny Formation of Rhode Island.
