Permoscarta mitchelli
Taxonomy
Permoscarta mitchelli was named by Tillyard (1918). Its type specimen is Mitchell Coll. 23, a tegmen, and it is a compression fossil. Its type locality is Soldiers' Baths, Newcastle, which is in a Wuchiapingian lacustrine siliciclastic in the Lambton Formation of Australia.
