Isfaroptera was named by Martynov (1937). It is not extant.

It was assigned to Cyrtophyllitinae by Zeuner (1939); to Isfaropteridae by Martynov (1937), Hong (1983); to Haglidae by Carpenter (1992); and to Isfaropterinae by Sharov (1968), Gorochov (1988), Gorochov (1995).
