Protohybosorus karatavicus

Taxonomy
Protohybosorus karatavicus was named by Nikolajev (2010). Its type specimen is PIN 2784/1656, an exoskeleton (almost complete adult beetle), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Karatau-Mikhailovka (PIN collection 2784), which is in a Callovian/Oxfordian lacustrine - large siltstone in the Karabastau Formation of Kazakhstan. It is the type species of Protohybosorus.
