Leptosorus fortus
Taxonomy
Geotrupoides fortus was named by Ren et al. (1995). Its type specimen is GMCB Nch881101, an exoskeleton (complete beetle), and it is an impression. Its type locality is Chifeng City, southeast area, which is in an Aptian lacustrine shale in the Jiufotang Formation of China.
It was recombined as Leptosorus fortus by Nikolajev (2010), Lu et al. (2018).
